Mastermind Groups
One really effective way of getting some smart people together in a structured format is to join a mastermind group.
There are a couple of ways you could go about this:
Find a group or pay for a mastermind membership. Finding people who are facing some of the same problems that you are, who aren’t competitors, will help you grow and advance. Once in a group, you’ll be able to create a regular frequency and format with others in the mastermind. There’s typically a sharing component, questions component, information sharing, giving advice, and shared experiences.
Form your own mastermind group. If you can’t find one, make it yourself. If you know a group of people who you already feel you learn so much from, what’s stopping you from creating your own? Reach out to others in your network and ask them if there is anyone they know that is doing something you should be learning about. I would suggest creating a group of no more than 4-6 people so that everyone gets a real chance to share.
If you want to join a mastermind group, but haven’t found one that you feel suits you or your budget, then your second option is to…
If you’ve joined a mastermind group or created your own, I’d love to hear your experiences with them! How did they help you and what did you learn from them?
